| I live in Perth, Western Australia and I have been making beaded jewellery now for 2 ˝ years, I started out with a gift basket of beads & jewellery findings and “The basics of Bead Stringing” by Debbie Kanan kindly given to me one Christmas by my two teenage boys. I taught myself the basic techniques of beaded jewellery making from this book and then added a lot of my own techniques to make some unique jewellery pieces of my own. I have been a decorative artist and painter of abstracts for 10 years and now concentrate solely on my jewellery designing and running my own business “Sabu Jewellery” which was formed in January 2004 with my designer beaded jewellery and beading supplies selling now both nationally across Australia and internationally. |
